The journalist learnt from the Henan Provincial Commercial Department on March 31 that, up to March 29, the 10th China (Henan) International Investment & Trade Fair had invited over 20,000 merchants, and over 200 important delegations including 140 foreign ones. The merchants going to participate in the Fair included a number of the world’s TOP500 enterprises and famous companies, such as CP Group, Siemens Group, Nestle Group, etc.
Centering on the goal of Henan province for economic transformation & upgrading and industrial structure’s constant optimization under the new normal status, Henan province selected 4,000 quality projects with a total investment of 4.5 trillion yuan, which covered several superior emerging industries, such as cultural tourism, warehouse logistics, e-commerce, and hi-tech service, according to Wang Yong, Deputy Director of Office of the Organizing Committee of the 10th Fair and Deputy Director-General of the Henan Provincial Commerce Department.
Up to March 29, the Project Signing Group had totally collected 431 proposed projects amounting to 273.9 billion yuan, Wang introduced. Among these projects, Sanmenxia Urban Heat Supply Project of the EDF Group totaling at an investment of 700 million yuan, University of Luoyang Automobile Industry & New Energy Automobile Industrial Base Project of Zhuhai Zhongcheng New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. with the investment of 5 billion yuan in Luoyang, and other projects will be signed together in the Fair.
The exhibition areas of this Fair is also worthy of attention. There will be five exhibition areas totally, which highlight on the word “New”, taking advantage of multimedia, sand table, model, physical object and other display forms through text, picture, voice, light, and electricity. These five parts include: 1) show of comprehensive achievements, which will collectively display the outcomes of economic and social development of Henan province and its cities and counties (prefectures) directly under the People’s Government of Henan Province during the period of “12th Five-Year Plan”; 2) e-commerce show mainly displaying the development achievements, industrial deployment and development prospect of Henan province’s e-commerce industry; 3) show of famous, superior, featured and new products, primarily exhibiting China and Henan’s time-honored products, famous brands and featured products, which will be sold onsite; 4) show of intelligent industry, principally revealing Henan province’s mobile intelligent terminal, intelligent wearable device, mobile medical treatment, 3D printing, intelligent house appliances, etc.; 5) international show, which will invite some countries and regions to show the investment advantage, cultural tourism, featured commodity, technical service, and other related contents.
In addition, this Fair will hold three major activities and ten thematic activities. As the main session of this Fair, the Inland Area Opening Innovation Forum has attracted the key attention. Centering on Henan province’s application and construction for “two areas”, the Seminar on China (Zhengzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone and China-Macao and China-Korea Free Trade Zone Bilateral Investment & Trade Matchmaking Event even become the focuses of many merchants.
