Lu Pengqi, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said that the proposal of "Air Silk Road" has further expanded the construction of the Belt and Road, and also provides a new opportunity and momentum for Henan to fully integrate into construction of the Belt and Road and make contributions to the nation at a higher level.
In addition, Guan Minghua, Deputy Director of Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Andrew Rob, Former Minister of the Australian Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, Viggo Carterapper, Vice President of Luxembourg Cargo Airlines, and Frank Dusen, a Belgian logistics expert and other Chinese and foreign guests also conducted an in-depth clarification and explanation of the "Air Silk Road" economic cooperation from different perspectives. They also delved into the two topics, "Solid and Deep Construction of the Air silk Road" and " Air Silk Road boosts Henan's Industrial Development and Foreign Economic and Trade Cooperation".
At the forum, government agencies and business representatives from 20 countries and regions including Australia, Belgium, Russia, France, the Philippines, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Canada, Malaysia, Luxembourg, Thailand, and China’ Taiwan and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, conducted in-depth exchanges in a warm atmosphere, and multiple intentions on cooperation were reached.
