The 12th CIFIT Will Be Held in Zhengzhou from April 17, 2018 to April 19, 2018
The Preparatory Work Mobilization Meeting of the 12th China (Henan) International Fair for Investment and Trade was held on February 23. This CIFIT will be held in Zhengzhou from April 17, 2018 to April 19, 2018 with the theme of “openness and innovation, cooperation and win-win situation”, and Germany will be invited as the “host guest country” to attend the fair.
This CIFIT will be jointly hosted by the Commerce Department, the Government of Henan Province, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries for the first time. The executives from Fortune Global 500 companies, Top 500 domestic enterprises, multinational corporations and well-known enterprises, heads of famous business associations, well-known experts and scholars will be mainly invited to attend the CIFIT.
Zhang Yanming, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the Provincial Commerce Department, introduced at the mobilization meeting that 6 key events, 9 special events and series activities of host guest country would be held at this CIFIT. The 6 key events are the Opening Ceremony and Signing Ceremony for Significant Cooperation Projects, the 2018 Central Plains Open Development Forum (Main Forum), the 2018 Sino-Luxembourg (Zhengzhou-Luxembourg) “Air Silk Road” Economic and Trade Cooperation Summit, and the 2018 Matching Conference on Cross-Border Investment and Trade Projects of Industrial and Commercial Enterprises, the 2018 Promotion Conference on Industrial Projects in China (Henan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and the 2018 Promotion Conference on Industrial Projects in Zhengzhou-Luoyang-Xinxiang National Innovation Demonstration Zone. The 9 special events are the Conference on Cooperation and Exchange of Multimodal Transport Innovation and Development of “the Belt and Road”, the Summit on Industrial Fund Investment Cooperation, the Matchmaking Meeting on Cooperation in Henan-Taiwan Green Agriculture Development, the Fair on Investment and Financing of Quality Improvement Projects in Hundred Cities Construction, the Exchange Conference on the Integrative Development of Big Data Industry, the Matchmaking Meeting on the UN Procurement Trades, the Exchange Conference on International Tourism Cooperation, the Matchmaking Meeting of Foreign Cooperation of Henan Enterprises, and Cross-Strait (Henan) Intelligent Equipment Matchmaking Activity.
This CIFIT has solicited 3842 business attraction projects currently, including 1883 service industry projects, 1591 manufacturing projects and 368 agricultural projects. The organizing committee will publish externally in batches based on the principle of publishing one batch once it is mature, and send it to the enterprise through channels such as business associations. According to information, executives from the US Johnson Controls, Thailand Chia Tai Group, Singapore Wilmar China Investment Co., Ltd., China Aerospace Construction Group and other companies have confirmed their attendance.
