The Exhibition Arrangement & Setting Work Conference for the 12th China (Henan) International Investment & Trade Fair Held By Office of the Organizing Committee

       The Exhibition Arrangement & Setting Work Conference for the 12th China (Henan) International Investment & Trade Fair was held at Henan Provincial Commerce Department in the afternoon on March 30. Gao Xiang, Deputy Director of Office of the Organizing Committee and Deputy Director-General of the Henan Provincial Commerce Department attended the conference and addressed a speech for schedule and deployment in respect of exhibition arrangement and setting. All Commerce Bureaus of the cities and counties (prefectures) directly under the People’s Government of Henan Province, commerce administration of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, and all builders approved by the qualification certification on special booth builder for this Fair also attended the conference. Clear requirements have been proposed in the conference for the exhibition setting work of this Fair in regard to seven aspects, such as the timeline and schedule of exhibition setting and dismantlement, requirement of booth design, notes for booth construction, requirement of building materials, construction request, extra work rule during the period of exhibition setting and dismantlement, as well as matters needed to be noted by constructors onsite, and the Exhibition Guide and booth layout profile for this Fair were given to all participants before the conference.

        Convening the aforesaid conference marked an end of the work for previous stage, and meanwhile, the most intense and practical setting work would start soon; during the exhibition arrangement period, all builders should strictly follow all rules set for the Fair, Gao pointed out. In order to further implement such exhibition arrangement and setting work, Gao emphasized the following three viewpoints:

I Politic factors should be considered and high attention should be paid to this Fair ideologically. 

         As an important window for foreign merchants to learn about, go into and invest in Henan, the China Henan International Investment & Trade Fair plays a significant role in promoting Henan’s opening-up and investment invitation and accelerating the open economic development. All exhibitors should plan as a whole, establish a concept of overall situation, and keep unified mind and move. At the meantime, the CPC Henan Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Henan Province should also keep a close eye on the work for exhibition, and we should well implement each preparation work for this Fair with our high sense of responsibility.

II The exhibition setting should be well completed for high quality and standard. 

         All builders should match the design style, color and image with the comprehensive show’s image. The design and setting should be artistic, decent and superior, but also be environment-friendly, economic and low-key. High-quality building materials should be used for setting, which reach the green building requirement to guarantee the setting quality.   

III The safety work should be conducted with full strength.

         All exhibitors should maintain the safety awareness at any time, strictly follow the setting requirements of Exhibition Guide, and guarantee both quality and quantity to complete the exhibition setting and dismantlement work of this Fair in line with relevant rules raised by the Organizing Committee and exhibition hall.

    The conference made arrangement for the import & export platform to develop the cooperative negotiation among the enterprises by fully taking advantage of this Fair. We should proceed from the whole situation, lead the enterprises for high-quality development, cultivate the Henan’s brands, popularize the Henan manufacturing, introduce the foreign merchants through exhibition, base on the commodity trade, further develop to bring in funds, technology and management, try to attract these merchants for investing in Henan, and work together with Henan’s enterprises for joint venture, cooperation and mutual benefits.

Office of the Organizing Committee summarized the issues related to power utilization, fire protection, etc. of the exhibition setting during previous sessions of the China (Henan) International Investment & Trade Fair, and meanwhile, it stressed that attention should be truly paid to setting rules, well finish the arrangement for negotiation area of the booths, and highlight on the exhibition’s features.
