The Import and Export Commodity Fair Was Initially Set Up at the CIFIT
On March 2, Organizing Committee of 12th China (Henan) International Fair for Investment and Trade (hereinafter referred as "CIFIT") held a press conference at the Government of Henan Province, Information Office. 6 key activities, and 9 thematic activities as well as host guest country series activities have been arranged for the 12th CIFIT, at which, 2018 Sino-Luxembourg (Zhengzhou-Luxembourg) "Air Silk Road" Economic and Trade Cooperation Summit will be one of the highlights.
"Important members of governments of Luxemburg and European countries, experts and scholars, senior representatives of famous business associations, enterprises of passenger and freight airlines, logistic, finance, etc. will be invited to attend Sino-Luxemburg Summit. At the summit, experts of China and Luxemburg will conduct research and discussion with regard to the development planning of Zhengzhou-Luxembourg "Air Silk Road" economic and trade cooperation, and will make thematic connection centering on key cooperation fields such as construction of Airport Biomedical Industrial Park, establishment of 'Collecting and Distribution Center of European Import Medicine', establishment of overseas 'Display Center for Cross-Board E-commerce Products', 'Oversea Location', etc." said Wan Xu, the Deputy Secretary General of Organizing Committee of CIFIT.
Zhang Yanming, the Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of Henan Provincial Commerce Department, introduced that the exhibition and display time this year was set from April 17 to April 21, longer in duration than previous years; 12 exhibition rooms at the first and second floor of Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center (ZZICEC) are planned to use as the exhibition site with the total exhibition area of 66,000m2, larger than previous years. Three sectors of investment cooperation, commodity trade and service industry will be set for exhibition and display, including 6 exhibition areas, namely, comprehensive exhibition area, host guest country exhibition area, export commodity exhibition area, Import commodity area, service trade exhibition area and commodity exhibition and sales area.
"Import and export commodity fair has been initially set for the first time for exhibition and display this year to emphatically show intellectual and high-end equipment, industrial products, agricultural machinery equipment, UAV, agricultural products and other competitive export products of Henan and brand commodities famous both at home and abroad (overseas). This is a transformation and upgrading in the history of the CIFIT in our province, and it is also an innovation in the history of the exhibitions held in Henan." said Zhang Yanming.
It was informed from the press conference that this CIFIT focused more on internationalism in the aspect of invitation of guests and merchants, not only the senior executives from the Fortune Global 500 companies and famous enterprises that had invested in our province but also famous oversea enterprises that had investment intentions like Japan External Trade Organization, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, etc. were invited.
According to reports, at present, the office of the Organizing Committee has solicited 3842 investment projects, including 1883 projects in the service industry, 1591 projects in the manufacturing industry, and 368 projects in agriculture.
