The Press Conference of the 13th China Henan International Investment & Trade Fair was held in Beijing on March 15. The reporter learned from the Conference that Hungary became the guest country. The executives of Fortune Global 500 enterprises and multinational corporations, including Henkel, Sumitomo Corporation, PETRONAS, YUM, and CHIA TAI GROUP, and the executives of China's top 500 and industry leading enterprises, including Bank of China, COFCO Group, JD and China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd., will attend the Fair.
Sun Jinglin, Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee Office of the Fair and Deputy Director of Henan Provincial Commerce Department, said that Hungary agreed to be the guest country, and its ministerial officials would led government delegations to attend the Fair; the ministerial, provincial and state officials and former political leaders from more than 20 countries including Thailand, South Korea, Russia, Georgia, Austria, Italy, Brazil, South Africa, and Zambia also confirmed their participation; a group of ambassadors and counsellors to China would attend the Fair; Wallonia of Belgium, Washington of USA and Parchim of Germany would send delegations for the attendance.
The executives of Fortune Global 500 enterprises and multinational corporations, including Henkel, Sumitomo Corporation, PETRONAS, YUM, and CHIA TAI GROUP, the executives of China's top 500 and industry leading enterprises, including Bank of China, COFCO Group, JD, Inspur, China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd., Red Star Macalline and Heungkong Group, and those of the internationally well-known enterprises such as EATON, OSI, Cargolux and Nippon Paint Singapore will attend the Fair. The China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council will send delegations to attend the Fair. The Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong, the Korean Association in China and the 67 branch presidents and more than a dozen domestic and foreign well-known business associations will attend the Fair. The Bank of China has organized the representatives of about 200 enterprises from more than 40 countries and regions to attend the Fair for project cooperation.
In terms of project organization, the Organizing Committee of the Fair has collected 3,509 investment projects, covering equipment manufacturing, bio-pharmaceutical, cultural tourism, modern logistics, and modern agriculture. It has chosen 2,000 high-quality projects in batches and released them on the official website of Henan Provincial Commerce Department, Henan Provincial Investment Promotion Network, and the official website of the Fair.
