On April 8th, the signing ceremony of key projects of the 10th China Henan International Investment & Trade Fair for the city of Sanmenxia was held at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. On the spot, 15 economic cooperation projects are signed, with a total contract amount of 7.175 billion RMB, of which two foreign investment projects account for 630 million.
Attendees and witnesses of the signing ceremony include deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial People's Congress Wang Baocun, deputy governor of Henan Province Zhang Weining, deputy director of the Henan Provincial Department of Commerce Gao Zhangfa, member of the standing committee of the commission of science and technology of the General Armament Department of the Central Military Commission Jian Shilong, general manager of the low-carbon and distributed energy division of Électricité de France(EDF) Roland, general manager of Datang Henan Power Generation Co., Ltd. Zhang Yan, general manager of Beijing Aerospace Science Industry & Finance Development Co., Ltd. Lin Xiang, deputy secretary of the Sanmenxia Municipal Party Committee Mayor An Wei, standing member of the Sanmenxia Municipal Party Committee Deputy Mayor Yang Lan, Deputy Mayor Li Qinghong, and secretary general of the Sanmenxia Municipal Government Liu Tingfu.
In his speech, Mayor An Wei first extends a warm welcome on behalf of the municipal party committee and the municipal government to the distinguished guests attending the conference. He expresses sincere gratitude to the friends from various circles at home and abroad who have long been concerned with and supporting the economic and social development of Sanmenxia. He says that Sanmenxia is a culturally rich city, famous for its Yangshao culture, Huangdi culture and Laozi culture. It is a city with abundant resources, boasting not only rich mineral deposits but also beautiful clear waters and green mountains; a city with flourishing industries, enjoying characteristic agriculture that takes the lead in the entire province, strong industrial foundations and robust momentum in the service industry; and a city that is relaxing and livable, featuring mountains and waters symbiotic with each other and thus a good ecological environment. It has successively been awarded the titles of China's Excellent Tourism City, National Garden City, National Forest City, and Home to the Chinese Big Swan, etc. and honored as the Pearl of the Yellow River, a cultural sacred place, and the city of swans.
In recent years, Sanmenxia, having seized the opportunities of China implementing the “Belt and Road Initiative” and the Regional Cooperation Plan of the Yellow River’s Golden Delta by Shanxi, Shaanxi and Henan as well as connected with Henan's “Three National Strategic Plans”, has achieved remarkable transformation results with its overall strength continuously improving. In particular, as the blueprint of “the Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” has been finalized, the whole city is now thoroughly and fully implementing the “54321” transformation and development strategy and the five major development concepts, constantly optimizing the spatial layout of production, living and ecology closely in line with the four positioning strategies of important cities along the “Belt and Road”, central cities of the Yellow River’s Golden Delta, demonstration cities of transformation and development, and leisurely cultural cities, and focusing on achieving the two major breakthroughs of industrial restructuring and upgrading and transformation and development of the central city so as to achieve the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way one year ahead of time, when there will be more room for cooperation and more opportunities for investment and building businesses.

At the signing ceremony, Sanmenxia Municipality signed a total of 15 economic cooperation projects, including 7 advanced manufacturing projects, 7 high-growth service projects, and 1 modern agricultural project with a total contract amount of 7.175 billion RMB, of which two foreign investment projects account for 630 million.
On the same day, Mayor An Wei also participated in the tour of the convention and exhibition center with other provincial leaders and guests, the opening ceremony of the 10th China Henan International Investment & Trade Fair, and the Inland Opening-up Highland Innovation Forum.
